Google Facebook Application a Sham?

FaceReviews.com Seems to Think So

It looks like the Google Facebook application that a few prominent could be a sham. At least that’s the story Rodney Rumford of FaceReviews is telling.

According to Rodney,

There is 1 supposed screen shot of this application (my gut tells me it is a mock-up of some creative person). But there are no news feed documentation screen shots. The application has never worked or loaded since 5:30 last night.

The link to the application about page does not work (suspicious). Google would likely never make these kind of simple errors.

I am finding the same thing that Rodney is…nothing. Either this was a nice piece of Linkbait that Mashable fell for or Mashable was just exposed for not checking their facts. Regardless, I don’t see Google creating a Facebook application anytime soon. In fact the only way i expect to see Google on Facebook is when they sign and advertising deal with Facebook.
