Via seattlepi - iLike, which has made a huge impact among Facebook users is introducing an Artist Services Platform for better communication among musicians and fans. It is a free service and makes it possible for musicians to add audio, video or text to their website via a camera phone. There is also a provision for statistical tracking service enabling musicians to view the number of times a song has been added to user profile pages. Also, the artists can send concert dates and videos etc.
iLike has been a real phenomenon on Facebook with over 8.6 million users on Facebook and a monthly increase of over three million users. Perhaps, that is a strong reason why iLike CEO believes that they could create another MTV.
