New World Record to be Set on Facebook

Facebook Group Looks to Set Guinness Record

I remember when I was younger I would always read through the latest edition of the Guinness book of world records. I was fascinated by all of the weird records folks had set and I always wanted to break a Guinness record. While I may never set a Guinnes record myself, at least I can now hopefully be part of one.

Right now there is a group on Facebook with one goal in mind: to set the Guinness book of records for the most people in one group. The group has officially applied for the record with the Guinness book. According to the group, they need 3 million members in order to qualify for the record. As of tonight, they currently have just over 1.3 million members.

I still remains to be seen if the group can get enough members to break the record, but if they do, every member gets their own world recorder holder certificate. Maybe there is still hope for me to be a Guinness record holder?
