APPMRKT Enables Buying and Selling of Facebook Apps

Ben Bleikamp and Jonathan Otto have finally release APPMRKT a marketplace for the buying and selling of Facebook Applications. With APPMRKT Facebook developers can list their application while others can bid on Facebook applications. The applications sell to the highest bidder using a Proxy system, just like on eBay. APPMRKT is sure to be a hot-spot for Facebook applications in short time with all of the action surrounding Facebook and Facebook applications.

APPMRKT does not directly handle the transactions; they leverage third parties such as PayPal and Escrow.com. There is no mention of any revenue share, so far now developers can assume that this is a free service. This is the first major Facebook application marketplace to pop-up. Inside Facebook offers a Facebook application marketplace, but it was done more as a listing service than a full fledged marketplace.
