Although, this would be a rare possibility for Facebook users but assuming they do want to leave how hard or how simple is the process? Do the users just have to press a delete button and in one go everything goes-off ? Not really, as as the users have to repeat the action for quite a few items..
To delete your face book account you need to scrap off this -
1)Delete your photo
2)Delete Comments and messages you wrote
3)Delete all your photo albums.
4)Delete your friends from your friends list. Leave all your networks and groups you have joined.
Is this infringement of law or not? Well, according to the terms stated Facebook copyrights user data and other info on its website.
Apparently, Facebook has stated that it doesn’t use the information from deleted account. Moreover, it seems that Facebook is using the deleted information for marketing campaigns and much hyped Social Ads.
What do you guys think is Facebook doing the right thing by complicating deletion of your Facebook account ?

Going through the process now for attempted deletion of Facebook account … received first response that merely states they received my e-mail (sent to to the attn: Administrator). The Facebook community is dependent upon teenagers with just enough computer knowledge to be dangerous. Facebook denies the obvious-by-its-absence “Delete Account” options because they do not care a wit about the user … only their data/information stuck forever in the Facebook server database. Shallow people concern themselves with people … great people concern themselves with ideas. Facebook is founded on the hope that people will be shallow. There is a place for social networking … not just at the top of anyone’s priority list.
