Facebook Banned in Iran?

Many In Iran Denied Access to Facebook

It is not just companies that are banning access to Facebook. Various reports across the net are saying that many in Iran are no longer able to access Facebook. While the issue of countries banning particular websites is outside of the scope of this site one has to wonder if the globalization of Facebook will be hindered by countries, companies and other organization blocking access to the site. Of course the banning of the site by employers and organization show an obvious short-sightedness as to how to leverage the Facebook platform to improve their organization.
