MySpace which has been a bit of social networking revelation in UK has been pushed to second spot in terms of popularity by Facebook. According to latest news Mark Zuckerberg’s baby has received over 6.5 million hits from Britons.

- An average Facebook user spent more than 16 hours on the site during August.
- Facebookâs British audience has grown by 541 percent.
Although Facebook has surpassed MySpace it is still not the fastest growing social networking site in the region. Perfspot.com is the no.1 site as it achieved a huge user base last month. Although, Facebook is fast catching up and is proving to be the next big thing in the world of social networking. I think the challenge for Facebook in UK would be to maintain the current level of consistency in user-base and also find answers to questions about security concerns.
