Keeping in the future and rapid growth of Moblile application development, Facebook has opened corridors for Facebook developers in Mobile development. At Facebook, we care deeply about the future of mobile development. Developers would now be aided with two new methods to integrate with Facebook mobile which makes it easy for them to create applications for the world of mobiles.
The first method.. Profile and Canvas
Now with the availability of a FBML tag (fb:mobile) developers will be abl to integrate their apps. into the mobile XHTML version of Facebook. So this can be done profile and canvas pages. So any content in this tag goes straight on to web-based mobile portal.
Second method…
This is via SMS, it enables SMS platform access. Users can interact directly with Facebook users via SMS.
Needless to say, everybody is excited with the move as now we’d see plethora of applications just like the recent news on BlackBerry covered by us. So for those of you’re using other phones well just wait and watch
