Facebook To Lift Group Messaging Limit - Let the Spamming Begin

Facebook group organizers with 1,000 or more members will soon be able to bulk email their members. Currently, only organizers with groups that have less than 1,000 members are allowed to bulk email the members. For group organizers who have worked painstakingly hard to build their group membership (especially those who are doing so for the marketing aspect), this has to be a welcomed change. This is yet another sign that Facebook is growing up and realizing that many will not stick around if they do not make the platform advantageous to do so. Oh, and if you are worried about getting spammed, Facebook will allow you opt-out of large group messaging.
