Tesco has suspended one of their employees after a request has been raised its customers. Apparently, the suspended Tesco employee had been using Facebook to trace the whereabouts of the customer and even sent her "illegal/provocative" photographs of himself with just a towel around.
The employee, James Piper, who works as a technician sent his photographs to Cardiff based Tania Roberts.
This is what James said in a message to Tania, "I have no idea who you are lol x. But I am sure I spoke to you on the phone when you rang the Tesco internet support line. I may be wrong? Jamie x."
The Tesco super market has suspended the Newport based 27yr old Mr. Piper as a part of the investigation. A Tesco spokesman said they are “speaking” with Ms Roberts.
A terrified Tania Roberts said, “I’m terrified of this nutcase coming round to my house. “He knows what I look like because my photos are all over my Facebook page and he now knows who all my friends are too.“He’s got all my personal details at his fingertips.”

Umm…Josh. I don’t think this employee was “suspended over Facebook.” He was suspended for being a completely unprofessional, inappropriate, scary, stalkerish creep to a customer.
Facebook made it possible for him to find her. But it’s not like he has her address or anything.
Hopefully she presses criminal charges and gets a no-contact order in place.
@ Teresa - technically he was suspended for his use of Facebook to execute on his plans to be a unprofessional, inappropriate, scary, stalkerish creep to a customer, so the title is appropriate, although maybe he could have added the “use” or “stalking”.
Either way it is disturbing to hear about stories like this.
I agree with the first poster - facebook was just a tool - like the telphone or a pair of binoculars that a peeping tom might use.
One other thing concerns me about this post - you put a picture of the victim - if people are just scanning, they see the headline, they see the photo and they assume the woman was doing the stalking and got fired. She’s already had her privacy invaded…put up a picture of the creep.
