Via Techcrunch - There has been a constant exchange of words between Facebook and ConnectU for quite sometime. The claims between both of them today hit the court and as it appears it is bad news for ConnectU, atleast for the moment.Little while back there were allegations on Mark Zuckerberg for stealing ConnectU’s source-code for creation of Facebook. However, this time in a turnaround of allegations Facebook has claimed that ConnectU had illegally hacked into Facebook in 2004, stole email addresses and used them to entice Facebook users to sign up to ConnectU.
ConnectU has however refuted the claims and requested Judge Richard Seeborg to dismiss the suit and have even mentioned that Facebook makes untrue assertions. The Judge mentioned that he couldn’t dismiss the case given earlier court rulings and would issue a decision at a future date.
